Palonosetron

Palonosetron is an antiemetic medication used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. It is a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist and is structurally related to other 5-HT3 receptor antagonists such as ondansetron and granisetron. It is available as a generic medication and is marketed under the brand name Aloxi.
