Tirbanibulin

Tirbanibulin (brand name Altreno) is a topical cream used to treat acne. It works by reducing the number of acne-causing bacteria on the skin and reducing skin inflammation. It is usually applied once a day, at bedtime, to the affected area of skin. It should be used for up to 12 weeks, depending on the severity of the acne. Common side effects include redness, dryness, and itching of the skin.

Tirbanibulin is a medication used for the treatment of actinic keratosis (AKs) on the face or scalp. Actinic keratosis are rough, scaly patches on the skin that develop as a result of long-term exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. These lesions are precancerous, meaning there's a small chance they can turn into squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer.

Tirbanibulin comes as an ointment that is applied to the affected area once a day for five days. It works by interfering with the growth of abnormal cells.
