Cancer uterus
Uterine cancer is a type of gynecologic cancer affecting the female reproductive organs, with the most common type being endometrial cancer, which begins in the uterus lining. Other types include uterine sarcoma, starting in the uterine muscles, and cervical cancer, originating in the cervix. The exact cause is unknown, but risk factors include obesity, hormone imbalances, smoking, and family history. Symptoms often involve abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, and pain during intercourse. Treatment typically involves surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy, depending on the cancer's spread and type. Early detection through regular pelvic exams and Pap smears is crucial for successful treatment.
