Cramp
Cramp is a type of muscle spasm or cramping that is caused by a sudden, forceful, and involuntary contraction of one or more muscle groups. It often occurs when a muscle is overworked, fatigued, or injured. Common causes of cramp include dehydration, overuse, electrolyte imbalances, and poor blood circulation. Cramp is usually felt as a sudden, severe pain that can last from a few seconds to several minutes. It can also be accompanied by stiffness, swelling, and tenderness. Treatment for cramp usually involves stretching and massage, as well as taking medications to reduce the pain and inflammation.
