Meningosis

Meningosis is a serious medical condition that is caused by an infection of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord, known as the meninges. The most common cause of this condition is a bacterial or viral infection. Other causes include fungal infections, parasites, and non-infectious inflammatory conditions. The infection can spread to the brain and lead to inflammation, swelling, and a build-up of pressure. This can cause a range of symptoms, including headache, stiff neck, confusion, fever, seizures, and coma. In some cases, it can also lead to hearing loss and death. Treatment typically involves antibiotics and/or antiviral medications, as well as supportive care and monitoring. Early diagnosis and treatment is essential to prevent complications.
