Antispasmodic
Antispasmodic drugs are used to relieve muscle spasms and cramps in the body. They work by blocking certain nerve impulses that cause the muscle to contract. This helps to relax the muscle and reduce pain. Antispasmodic drugs can be used to treat a variety of conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, menstrual cramps, and bladder spasms. They can also be used to treat certain types of headaches, such as tension headaches and migraines. Antispasmodic drugs can come in the form of pills, injections, or topical creams and ointments. They are typically taken on a regular basis to help prevent muscle spasms and cramps from occurring.
