In some cases, the cause is unknown. Symptoms of this condition may include facial grimacing, tongue protrusion, rapid and jerky arm movements, and difficulty with walking and balance. Treatment for medical Chorea is aimed at managing the underlying cause, and may include medications, physical and occupational therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
