Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system. It is characterized by recurrent seizures, which can range from mild to severe. The seizures can be triggered by certain environmental stimuli, such as bright lights or loud noises. Other triggers can include stress, lack of sleep, and certain medications. Epilepsy is often treated with antiepileptic medications, electrical stimulation of the brain, or surgery. There is no cure for epilepsy, but treatments are available to help control the seizures.
