Stenocardia
Stenocardia is a condition in which the heart muscle is not able to pump enough blood to meet the body’s needs. This is usually caused by a narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart. Symptoms of stenocardia include chest pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue. Treatment may include lifestyle changes, medications, and/or procedures such as angioplasty or coronary artery bypass surgery. With proper treatment, most people with stenocardia can lead active and healthy lives.
